Ivy is the Director, EEO Compliance Officer for Johnson & Johnson Enterprise, located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Ivy Latimer was born in New York City, of Puerto Rican parents.
Prior to this role, she was the Director, EEO & Diversity Initiatives for The McGraw-Hill Companies, and has over 10 years of comprehensive experience in the specialized area of Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Implementation and Equal Employment Opportunity.
Her primary responsibilities are to lead the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy with a focus on attracting, developing and retaining a world-class diverse workforce. Her responsibilities also include managing the development and monitoring of the company’s Affirmative Action Programs and serving as company representative with federal, state, and local compliance agencies and community-based groups.
Prior to her current role, Ivy was the Senior Global Employment Compliance Specialist at Pfizer Inc. She received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from New York University; and a Master’s of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Mercy College.
In 2004 she served as the Chair of the Northeast Region Industry Liaison Group, and is currently a Board member of PRIMER. At the 2005 National Society of Hispanic MBA conference, Ivy was a guest panel speaker on Latina women’s issues and work/life balance.
Ivy resides in New Jersey with her husband and three young daughters.
