Marc graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and minor in Sociology. Shortly after graduation, Marc spent two years working with the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York, Rudolph W. Giuliani, as a Project Planner handling issues with various City Human Resources Agencies. Marc then went on to work in the private sector as a Disability Plan Consultant for the Unum Life Insurance Company of America.
In June of 1996, Marc became a broker/consultant with Kornreich/NIA, a large New York City employee benefits and insurance brokerage, and has since worked in the employee benefits industry. Since that time, Marc has held positions as Senior Sales Manager at OnlineBenefits, Inc. and Director of Benefit Solutions for a leading New York City consulting firm. Marc was recruited in 2002 by the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network (NMFN) to assist in further promoting the services of Northwestern Mutual’s Strategic Employee Benefit Services division. Along with being a fully licensed Life/Health Agent, Marc is a registered member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and Northwestern Mutual Investment Services (NMIS).
