Irene Lara Gutierrez, Lcsw, Msw, PhD candidate,
Iréné is a licensed clinical social worker working on her dissertation for her doctorate in Child Clinical Psychology, a degree in human development. Current title: “Integrating aspects of yoga into play therapy.” Irene has been practicing as a psychotherapist for over fifteen years. She currently has a private practice in downtown Long Beach serving Adults, Teens, Children and Families including English & Spanish speakers, multicultural and LGBTQ clients. She has worked as a Psychiatric Social Worker (School Counselor) for Los Angeles Unified School District’s School Mental Health division for ten years. She is a graduate of UCLA where she received a Masters in Social Welfare. She is a clinician, consultant, dynamic speaker and group facilitator.
