The Travelers Insurance Hosts PRIMER in Hartford

I am delighted to share that our July 22nd meeting at Travelers, Inc. was a great success! It was a night of recognition, professional development, and networking. The evening meeting was hosted by PRIMER member Carlos Figueroa, Director of Talent Acquisition, University Relations, Travelers, Inc. Mr. Michael Joachim, Senior Vice President, Field Operations, Travelers, Inc. delivered an outstanding keynote address highlighting the company’s commitment to its workforce. As the highest ranking Latino at Travelers, Inc., Michael Joachim is exceptionally proud of the investment the senior leadership has made in promoting professional development within and throughout the company. Needless to say, we were all very impressed by Travelers, Inc.’s state-of-the-art, million dollar complex. For those of you who have not visited Claims University in Windsor, Connecticut, I strongly encourage you to do so.
We also had an opportunity to share PRIMER’s Mission and Vision Statement which was recently approved by the Board of Directors. Special thanks to all of you who worked so hard at crafting the statement and participated in the Board of Directors’ Strategic Planning Retreat.
